Methodology & Environmental Disclosure
Methodology & Environmental Disclosure
Version: 1.1 (2026) Standard: Miyawaki Method + F.R.O.G. 1.0 Framework
This disclosure outlines the scientific principles, technical standards, and natural variables involved in the reforestation services provided by Faunus Greens Sustainable Pvt Ltd. We believe in radical transparency—providing "Ground Truth" data rather than vague environmental promises.
1. The Miyawaki Methodology
Our reforestation projects are executed based on the Miyawaki Method, a proven scientific approach for ultra-dense, multi-layered native forests.
-
Native Species Only: We use only indigenous species suited to the local climate of the specific district.
-
Accelerated Growth: While this method significantly accelerates biomass accumulation compared to traditional plantation, the "acceleration" is a natural biological process and not a result of chemical forcing.
2. F.R.O.G. 1.0 Monitoring (The Data Layer)
To ensure transparency, we utilize the Forest Regeneration & Observation Grid (F.R.O.G.).
-
Sensor Accuracy: Our hardware monitors soil moisture, ambient temperature, and site health. While our sensors are high-precision, they are subject to environmental wear and tear.
-
Reporting: Data shared via our client dashboards represents real-time site conditions. Any data gaps due to local connectivity issues in rural areas will be flagged and corrected during manual site audits.
3. Natural Variables & Survival Rates
Nature is an open system. Despite our technical precision, the following variables can impact project outcomes:
-
Climatic Events: Extreme heatwaves, unseasonal monsoon patterns, or localized flooding (Force Majeure) are beyond the control of Faunus Greens.
-
Biological Factors: Natural pests or local wildlife interactions are part of an evolving ecosystem.
-
Site Maintenance: Success is often dependent on adherence to the maintenance protocols established during the pilot phase.
4. Anti-Greenwashing Commitment
In accordance with global and Indian ecological reporting standards, Faunus Greens does not provide "Estimated" carbon offsets without verified data.
-
We report on Survival Metrics and Bio-density.
-
Carbon sequestration claims are only made after a minimum growth period and are verified through the F.R.O.G. monitoring framework.
5. Technical Site Feasibility
A "Feasibility Study" is an engineering assessment. It identifies risks (such as soil toxicity or water table depth) before a project begins. A positive feasibility report is a recommendation for deployment but does not eliminate all ecological risks inherent in nature-based solutions.
